In the morning when the birds are all tweeting, we set off
towards Jinja - Eastern Uganda. Jinja is the second largest city in Uganda! One needs to be ready for one of those days
to remember of their holiday while in this beautiful and naturally endowed
country, Uganda! Good walking shoes, check? Light clothes check? A hat, check?
Sun lotion, check? bottled drinking water, check? Then we are all set for the
day!

Jinja Day Tour activity details as
the itinerary goes;
1. Visiting Ssezibwa falls, a
cultural site for the Buganda kingdom as well as an eco-site with over 100 bird
species and plenty of plant life. This is our first stopover for 45 minutes to 1 hour
after approximately an hour drive from Kampala. Expect to see lots of rural African life style including farmers cultivating their gardens, school going kids on a
schooling day and generally variance in the landscape the more we get away from
ever busy Kampala.

2. Mabira forest guided nature walk
of 1-2 hours, expect to go through both the primary and secondary sections of
the forest, expect to see different species of indigeneous trees, not
forgetting giant trees as old as over 200 years, lots of plant life, red tailed
monkeys, different butterflies and to learn about the impact of the forest to Uganda and the locals in this
area. The grey-cheeked mangabeys are a rare species of monkeys and on chanceful days, we
seen them!

3. Have a lunch break, then go on
the boat cruise first on Lake Victoria then connect to the Mighty River Nile,
seeing the spot where the river begins its 90 days journey to Egypt. We also see the spot where Sir John Speke stood and viewed the source of the Nile
from when he arrived on the 3rd August 1858, and the late Mahatma Gandhi
Statute, whose ash were poured into the river Nile as he requested while still
alive.

After a couple of minutes rest on
returning from the boat ride, we then start our return journey to Kampala
and drop you off at your accommodation.
We shall do a refund if you happen
