Legendary Shoebill Stork hunting
The shoe bills are a rare species of birds and they are very few in number , this swamp is one of the places where you can see them and its not guaranteed as its over 10,000 hectares and only 9 shoe bills are recorded in it. The site guides are well experienced with the tracking and all the times we have been there, we have seen one or two shoe bills.

Pied Kingfishers
The swamp has much more to offer including the migratory birds that come in from Europe each summer and scenery.

After rewarding ourselves to that, we then continue to our next stopover, and stretch our legs with a 1:30 hour forest guided nature walk.We take the butterfly loop where you will feast your eyes to as many as we are  chanced to see out of the 95 butterfly species, more forest birds and lots of plants life and trees.
